The Parthenon

The Parthenon in Nashville's Centennial Park is the only full-scale
reproduction of the famous Greek temple. The Athena Parthenos, at 42 feet in
height, is the tallest indoor sculpture in the Western world. Originally built
for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, this replica of the original
Parthenon in Athens serves as a monument to what is considered the pinnacle of
classical architecture.
