Home of the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama is known as the Rocket Capital of the World.
Dedicated on September 8, 1960, NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center manages the Space Shuttle propulsion elements and science aboard the International Space
