Iolani Palace

Honolulu, Hawaii features the Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the United States of America. Built in 1882, the palace was the official residence of King Kalakaua and Queen Liliuokalani, the last in a long line of ruling Hawaiian royalty.

The first and second floors of the Iolani Palace have been meticulously restored and are open to the public for guided tours.
